Wonderful apartment in great location
We had a wondeful stay in this 2-bedroom apartment. When we arrived from the airport, Ilan was waiting for us and showed us around.
The apartment, kitchen, bathroom, etc. were very clean, which my Swiss sister noted especially. We also appreciated the washing machine as we only travel with carry-ons.
Located close to public transportation we used tram and subway a lot, with the added benefit that for us 70+ year olds it was FREE!!
Excellent location in Prague
Furnishings are worn out, but adequate. Great location for a first visit to Prague. Host was very responsive and helpful, answering questions, making taxi reservations when needed, etc. Street was noisy at night when windows were open, but it was nice to be in a lively neighborhood and we felt safe walking around.
Clean and comfortable, good location to explore the city
The apartment was exactly as described. It was clean and well maintained. Ivan was very helpful at check in. The kitchen had what we needed to cook basic meals.
The area felt safe and was a good starting point to explore the city on foot or by public transit. There is a mall and a grocery store nearby, at the metro station, very convenient.
We knew to expect noise from the multiple nearby hostels and bars (including one downstairs) from the other reviewers. As others have said, it’s not too bad if you keep the windows closed. However we had not expected to be woken up at 6 am everyday by the demolition crew working on the building across the street. It was quite loud. If you are considering booking in the near future, I would suggest contacting the owners to see if they have any idea how long the demo/reconstruction will last for. Or just bring earplugs.

The apartment is in a great location. Easy to reach by tram from the train station and easy walking distance to Old Town and the major sites. Check-in went smoothly. The apartment is very spacious, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Good set-up for two couples, families and friends. We appreciated the elevator after a day of lots of walking. The fully equipped kitchen and washing machine were useful.
This is the apartment you want in Prague!
The care and attention to detail you see in the photos perfectly represents our experience in June 2018. The apartment was tastefully decorated, had ample space for our family of four, and was very comfortable. As far as things you do not see in the photos: double paned windows kept the apartment very quiet, mattresses were firm and comfortable (as were the three sofas), two sets of quality towels provided per person, and a fully stocked kitchen. Within one block of the apartment are several great restaurants, a coffee shop, and a small market (a larger market is about a ten minute walk). We easily walked to most tourist attractions. But when we needed one, tram stops were only a couple of blocks away.
What earned the apartment five stars however, was the owner. It is clear Ilan takes a lot of pride in hosting guests. Ilan was readily available through email before our visit and by phone during our stay. He arranged car service for us upon our arrival and departure. He offered thoughtful suggestions on restaurants and activities for our family. And there was plenty of helpful, well-organized information provided in the apartment about Prague and the surrounding area. While the apartment was well designed to meet our needs, it was ultimately Ilan who made us feel comfortable and welcomed during our stay.
Beautiful Prague apartment!
The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable! It was very clean and well stocked with dishes, etc. The location was within walking distance or tram ride from everywhere we wanted to visit. The owners were very attentive to our needs. The area is noisy at night but earplugs allowed us to enjoy the fresh air without any issues. I would like to mention that the listing states that there are two bathrooms when in fact there is only one toilet in the apartment. Also, there is a washing machine but no dryer. There is a large drying rack that worked very well for us. We enjoyed the small balcony very much. Thank you Ilan and Veronika for a lovely visit!
Denne centrale down-town Prag lejlighed er beliggende i en historisk bygning i Prag 1, emmer af historie. Skjult væk fra de vigtigste turist travlhed finder du området har en lokal føler, men det er cetral nok til at give nem adgang til alle de vigtigste attraktioner. Den nationale teater er en 5 min gåtur, som er den berømte Café Louvre, som Einstein engang frekventerede. Prags mest kendte restaurant og bryggeri, U Fleku, er en 2 min gåtur op gaden. Dette er den ældste bryggeri i det centrale Europa og har været under opsejling øl i mere end 500 år. En smuk tur gennem de snoede, brostensbelagte gader rundt i lejligheden, der vrimler med udsmykkede restauranter, butikker og caféer, vil tage dig i 5 min til Vltava-floden, hvorfra kan nyde en behagelig 5-10 min gåtur langs floden til Karlsbroen . Et par minutters gang fra lejligheden vil også tage dig til Narodni Trida og Wenzelspladsen. Fra Narodni Trida du kan fange nummer 22 sporvogn til slottet og Mala Strana.

If we agree collect balance upon arrival you can pay in cash (Euros or CZK). There is no extra charge for cash payment, but a 4% surcharge for PayPal payments. In this case the balance will be converted into CZK based on the exchange rate provided by XE and the sum will be agreed by both parties before payment. Payment of the balance on line before arrival is also possible and subject to the same conditions. Cash payment in currencies other than EURO can also be considered. Stays of less than three nights are subject to the discretion of the owner
