Guro Storla købte Ferievilla i 2005
Hvorfor Guro Storla valgte Klinci

nature + history + luxury + convinience
Beautiful, historic, special, comfortable, surrounded by most amazing nature, incredible views, wonderful housekeeper who made the most delicious meals for us, great communication, close to everything, yet secluded. Would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Dag, Guro and Saska.
absolutely perfect for our celebrations
My family of eight adults and five children found this property just idyllic. We could dine on the roof terrace with amazing views and watching the sun set or by the pool in the glow of the pool lights. With five terrace areas on five levels it was easy to find a quiet corner if needs be. We had a few minor issues but nothing that the house keeper could not resolve. We were delighted to find there was air conditioning in the bed rooms. This was very welcome with day temperatures at 39C and night time temps not dropping below 28C.
If you want night life this is not the correct location for you. If you want scenery, quiet and indeed wild life this is perfect. The house keeper Saska and her family run a winery and bar just 300m up the road and you must try their own red wine. We found Villa Stora a great launch pad from which to explore local swim spots and indeed to access the amazing mountains. A small hire car is essential with a confident driver as the roads are narrow and challenging in places.
We hoped to do some walking but this was restricted by the high temperatures. Do take a water taxi to the restaurant in Robinsons bay just along from the villa. This is only accessible from the sea but special.
Beautiful villa in gorgeous setting
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this villa. The setting and views are breath-taking, especially the sunsets!
There was plenty of space for a group of 12 adults, with lots of choice in seating areas at the pool, on the upper terrace, or at the large dining table in the kitchen. Bedrooms were all spacious, and bathrooms finished to a high standard.
The pool area was fantastic, and there is a lovely path from here down to a local beach which is about a 20 minute (slightly challenging) walk.
We visited some of the local beaches and beach clubs which were gorgeous, and also went on a longer trip to do white water rafting near the Bosnian border.
The only thing worth mentioning with the villa is that it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues- the path from the parking spaces to the villa and from the villa down to the pool is quite uneven and steep, and the villa itself is set out over lots of levels in general. Wasn't a problem for our group at all, but worth noting.
All in all, a wonderful holiday in a stunning & unique property!
Perfect villa for large parties.
We spend one week in this marvelous villa. It suited us perfect with a lot of space for everyone, we were 10 persons. A number of separat bathrooms, well equiped kitchen, a poolarea with plenty of space for everyone. We had barbecues almost every evening at the pool with a great wiev over the bay. We can strongly recommend this villa.
Beautiful remote villa with a great view
Me and twelve of my friends spent a week here celebrating turning 30. There was plenty of room for everybody and the location of the villa guaranteed that everyone found something to do! The place is even more beautiful in real life than in pictures and the view is amazing. This is not a modern villa, but this is what gives this place a homey and warm feeling. The pool is perfect for hanging out on the days that you don't feel like doing anything and the upper terrace was big enough that we could all have breakfast there every morning. We were such a large group that we did not really cook at the villa, but luckily there is a great restaurant down the hill just 5-10 minutes away. The villa is also quite remote so we did not disturb any neighbors.
You definitely need a car to get here and to move around easily. Kotor and Budva are both close by where you can find lots of activities (kayaking, diving, paddle boarding...) as well as picturesque Tivat with it's luxury yachts and beautiful boardwalk. We also made a day trip to go canyoning in Nevidio and hiking in Durmitor national park (these were about 2-3hrs by car). The little bit longer journey wasn't a problem since the scenery on the way is so beautiful. Guro and Dag were also very helpful in answering any questions. All in all we could not have asked for anything more from our holiday here, I strongly recommend Villa Storla!
Beautiful property and a view to die for!
We loved our stay here. The house is beautiful, wonderfully restored and comfortably furnished, and the location is stunning - a wooded hillside overlooking the Bay of Kotor, surrounded by spring flowers and birdsong. We enjoyed eating on the terrace and picking cherries from over the wall to finish off our barbecue. Holiday highlights included exploring the beautiful towns around the bay, afternoons on local beaches, dinner by the sea in Rose, and a day in the mountains, complete with hair-raising zip wire ride for the kids. Next time we'll try to fit in rafting and kayaking as well!
One note of caution - the house is spread over multiple levels and access is via a narrow lane with steps and a very uneven surface. So if you have less able members of the party, this may not be the right property for you.
