The Nina Sanchez art gallery is a must see when you go to Willibordous to photograph the pink flamingoes in the old salt pans. Stop for a beer or cold coconut water at any of the local roadside "tokos" and don't be surprised if one of the local guys shows up riding his beautiful Passifino horse and ties it up next to your car. Sit in the garden and be surrounded by birds, watch our resident Kestrels building their nest in the next door neighbor's roof or watch for dolphins (and the occasional pod of whales) from the back deck. You can cook in or try any number of local restaurants in the area - you won't want to miss the goat stew in Barber, David and Sunshine's pizza at Sol Food in Westpunt, Indonesian night at Landhuis Daniel or any of the delicious dishes at Trio Penotti next to the national park.
