Great location, great host and extraordinary property in the heart of the city.
Walking distance to all major attractions, train station, restaurants, markets and parks. Sophia is a wonderful host that makes sure her guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay in Athens. The property is private, well maintained and secure.
Very nice place in a charming neighborhood
I was impressed by the care that Sophia took to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. The apartment itself was spacious and clean. Location is great, very close to a number of museums and attractions. We also enjoyed walking and eating around the neighborhood.
Beautiful apartment in the heart of Athens
The apartment is equipped with everything you can think of and still more. It is wonderfully decorated and taken good care of. The owner shows great hospitality to her guests.
Even though the area can get very busy, the bedrooms are quiet. We spent wonderful days there!
Great location, great apartment and wonderful host
This apartment was close enough to everything that me and my two kids walked to everything and just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet.
The apartment itself is spacious and well equipped with everything we needed.
The hostess, Sophia, was responsive to our needs and had thought about most of them before hand.
Would highly recommend if you are going to Athens, stay here.
A beautiful apartment in a perfect location
We could not have found a better apartment in a better location. It is close to stores, transportation and world class museums. Sofia is a wonderful hostess and made us feel right at home in her beautifully decorated and spacious flat. We had a rental car and parking at St. George Lycabettus Hotel was only a few steps away at 25 euros a day. It was perfect!
Trendy location with retail and restaurants!
Sofia was a wonderful host! We had many questions before the trip and she promptly responded, even checking on us during our stay to see if we had any questions or concerns. Sofia greeted us with fruit, water and a dessert when we arrived! The apartment is lovely. 2 bedrooms and one bathroom was perfect for the 3 of us. One mattress is harder than the other. Kitchen has everything you need if you plan on cooking. Washer also available but we didn’t use it. You have a key to get in the building and of course one for the apartment door. There are steps into building and a few to get to the elevator. It’s very small so you will need to take multiple trips to get to your floor. There are steps up to the room as well. If your going to be out at night it is dark on the stairway and hall. We used our cellphone light to walk the steps. Never heard any sounds from the neighbors or traffic outside! Lots of restaurants and bars. Some pricey, some reasonable in the area. The city is wonderful, the food amazing and the people lovely! We were able to use our credit card in most locations. Public transportation is the way to go! For 9 Euros you can ride the bus, metro and tram for 5 days. Taxis service everywhere and reasonable for the most part. Don’t ride without agreeing to the price first unless they have the meter running. Unfortunately my husband had his wallet lifted on a crowded metro. Luckily he discovered it was missing right after and locked his card. Don’t carry your money in one place on you or all at once. Luckily for us they didn’t get much. Just the hassle of calling to cancel the card. We walked everywhere and it’s either up hill or down hill with a lot of steps in between. The Greek cuisine was wonderful and most of the locals speak some English so communication was not too difficult. The museums and Acropolis city are a must!
