Nautical Inn er en Beach Resort med flere private caribiske villa stil hytter. Dette er den største Hjemme på ejendommen med en wrap omkring dæk og 4, 12 fods dobbelt glas skydedøre. Det har en kingsize seng i soveværelse suite, og en dronning i det andet soveværelse, sovesofa i den store stue med kæmpe fladskærms-tv og surround sound. Det har et åbent køkken med granit bordplader. Vi har en restaurant og bar på ejendommen, hvis du ikke er i humør til at lave mad eller gå ud, kan vi levere dine måltider til dig. Vores faciliteter inkluderer en stor pool, privat fiskeri mole, kajakker, kanoer og cykler til din brug, samt en volleyball. Not what it seems!

This property is a mess! When we arrived at 8:30pm after 15 hours of travel we were told they didn't know we were coming. The unit we booked was not available and never was. It was sold to us as the premium unit but it was never to be rented as it is the owners personal residence. The owner knows that he is booking a unit that isn't available as per the staff. We were given a different unit and was told they would make it good. The unit we were placed in was terrible. The fridge, range and tv didn't work. We were given a small cooler instead until they replaced the fridge 6 days later. This means we didn't have a "kitchen". The shower in the second bath was broken and barley usable. The furniture was busted and dirty. AND there were rats running throughout the unit nightly!! We chose this location because it had two rooms, two baths and a kitchen. It is also advertised that they have a restaurant and bar on site and that we could have room service from them. None of that is true! The property does have them but completely not operable and definitely not in service. We were told they would make it right and give us a great experience. That amounted to providing us a few drinks from their own stock not the bar and left over xmas dinner the night we arrived. The owner of the property showed up to stay the night after we got there and did nothing but bark orders from his balcony at the staff the entire time. We were very patient as they kept reassuring us that they'd make it good. The day before the end of our 12 days there the owner offered a meager discount that was not at all about "making it good". We had been doing some exploring different accommodations for future trips when we found that we could have stayed in several other very nice resorts for far less than we paid here even after the discount. We will never stay there again and I would question VRBO on their ability to monitor what they are actually selling. The owner blames it all on VRBO.

Very disappointing, and VERY overpriced

The property is one room/suite at an inn, not a condo as represented in the vrbo ad. When we arrived, the room we had booked (the Executive's House) had a family already in it. The owner told us it would be available in 2 days, we could look at it and decide if we want to move. In the meantime, they stuck us in another room that was in the process of starting to be remodeled. The railing on the way up to the room had been painted that day, but we didn't notice until my husband and my son had already leaned against it. The paint had been stripped in the bathroom, and the rest of the room was rundown and dirty. We had been traveling since 3am, it was now 9pm, so we just wanted to go to bed. I turned down the covers on the master bed, and the sheets were so stained I wouldn't have been able to sleep on them. The other beds were fine. The manager came up and changed the sheets, the new sheet also had a large stain but we slept either side of it. There were rodent droppings in the master bath, on the floor and sink. There was no toilet paper in the master bathroom. My daughter was going to sleep on the sofa bed but when we pulled it out, it was disgusting and full of food crumbs etc. Gross. The entire curtain rod fell off the wall when I tried to close the curtains. In the morning, we noticed that there were a bunch of sticky frying pans, but no pot to boil water. There were 3 dirty bowls in the cabinet for our family of 5, and only 2 plates. I washed the bowls and dried them with paper towels because there was no kitchen towel and only 2 bath towels for the 5 of us in the whole place. The beach was so FULL of trash, we would have to jump over it to reach the Caribbean. Of course we could have asked for more bowls, more towels, toilet paper, clean sheets, saucepans, but they knew we were coming. It spoke volumes about the housekeeping and management. And yes, we were in Belize, but we do not feel our expectations were unreasonable. I talked to the owner the following day, and he said he'd have someone take care of the housekeeping problems, we should expect mice because we are in the tropics after all. He then said the people in the room we booked would be gone in 3 days and we could move then if we want to. Uh, 3 more days? There was no offer of a discount for the crappy room we were given. My husband was furious, we MOVED to a different hotel. We had an amazing vacation that met all our expectations, just not at THIS place.

Property needs a little TLC but the people are great!

This is a quaint property. A little remote and very quiet. Placencia is a little busier (not a lot)! Grocery store is within walking distance. Many restaurants close by. A great place to go if you just want to get away from the rat race, unplug, and slow down! From what we understand this is one of the oldest resorts in the area. The age is beginning to show but the staff are great. It felt much more like going to visit family than going to a resort. Overall it was a good experience and well most likely return!

We loved it! Fantastic staff!!

The pool next to the beach was convenient for us & our children. The staff was very helpful, food was delicious! We had a wonderful experience!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST

Belize has been on my "bucket list" for years and years. This past week my daughter and great-granddaughter joined me for a week's stay at this fantastic property near Placencia Village, in the village of Seine Bight. The property was completely as advertised and the owners and staff were fantastic. We could swim in the pool, swim in the ocean or just sit on our wrap-around deck, with the breeze to keep us cool, and listen to the ocean. Meals could be ordered from their menu, on site. The food was absolutely delicious and always well prepared. The entire property was well cared for. I would recommend this facility to anyone who would like to visit Belize.

My husband and I came on Vacation to the Nautical Inn in Belize in May of 2008. We fell in love with Belize, the people, the Caribbean, the relaxed lifestyle here. By August, we had bought the place where we stayed. Now we want to share this experience with others.

We have a 2 bedroom 2 bath home that over looks a pool that is right beside the beautiful water of the Caribbean. It is a getaway from the hustle and bustle, and very comfortable beach basic, with a staff that is there to answer any questions you might have and arrange any get-aways you might want.

There is a restaurant and bar on the property, We can assist you in booking every tour you can imagine. From bird watching to zip lining through the jungle to tubing through the amazing caves. Diving, Snorkeling, fishing, it is unlimited opportunity for activities.
