Great Vacation, Awesome Location!
The camper was perfect for us, parking was a little tight, but still a great property! We enjoyed the nice quiet location. The property owner was quick to respond and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed our stay. The location was very clean and views were beautiful.
BEST kept secret ..... Paradise!
What can We Say... The placer IS Paradise... Ocean front, great breeze just awesome. My husband and I totally had an amazing relaxing 4th of July weekend! We had our Hobie Kayak and had it in the water all weekend long. It was great access and good fishing.
We will be back!!
Very quiet harbor community. Beautiful setting. Good fishing right next to the RV. Nestor quickly answered my calls and answered all questions I had. Definitely recommend you get a kayak delivered to you and check out the bay. Pretty neat getting up close to the sunken boats. I'm curious as top the story behind them though. Would definitely stay there again.
Peaceful and Relaxing
Nice stay at pelican cay. Camper was clean, private spot. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Had a enjoyable relaxing time. Refrigerator kept things cool enough, not as cold as we would have liked. Parking to the left side of the camper lot is tight. We had a small pickup truck, which was a challenge. But if you have a small car, shouldn't be an issue. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
Great view owner is difficult and slow to respond
The view is absolutely picture perfect. The RV is meticulously maintained, not luxurious but comfortable. The ac was not sufficient on arrival. It took 3 phone calls to vrbo and 2 to the owner and 3 days to get owner out to verify ac was not adequate. Unfortunately it could not be corrected during my stay. Had the owner come out when I called on arrival it would have been a 5 star trip.. I would have overlooked the "NO PAPER IN COMMODE" sign. His disagreeable demeanor and failure to acknowledge the problem, ruined my trip. He will justify my response by saying I got almost a full refund. Nothing repays how miserably hot it was 82+ in day not below 76 ever and not being able to stay the remaining 3 days of my vacation. The week before memorial weekend was not a good time to try to find somewhere else to stay or VRBO would have offered to do that. He said he sent check-in instructions, but what I got was a list of rules and an address. No mention of gate code or how to get in unit. He was clearly perturbed when I called him to ask for assistance. Maybe he was having a bad day. However a professional in the vacation business knows to keep bad moods to themself.
If you are considering this unit, Verify ac has been corrected, or take lots of fans, because he refused to provide one. Silly how he made no effort to make it right.
Believe the experience with us is rather pleasant, and we offer a high level of service to all of our Guests.
Issues with the Guest started with entry at the Gate.
Property instructions were sent to the Guest ahead of arrival. First the Guest denied receiving them.
We re-sent them, and noticed she had them. They have a substantial amount of information, gate entry code address.
Not as stated by the Guest. Everything she states as not included, is stated.
Then Guest would not park in the designated parking, we had to to negotiate this with her.
All items inside of the unit are checked prior to Guest arrival. The A.C. was inspected.
The A.C. was found to be cooling.
The Guest arrived complained the A.C. was broken, we explained it was working, it had been checked prior to arrival.
Guest asked the capacity of the A.C., we shared 13,500 B.T.U., the Guest said it was NOT.
Did NOT confront the Guest.
I purchased the unit, and certainly know what it is equipped with.
Guest requested we install another A.C. in the window.
We said to Guest we could not do that.
And per the review now Guest says there was no toilet paper. Well disagree we provide toilet paper for all Guests. The toilet paper is inside the bathroom cabinet.
We offered the Guest a 100% refund upon arrival, if the property was not acceptable to them. The Guest did not respond and stayed until Wednesday. Three (3) Nights.
On Tuesday, we visited the Property the temperature was 75.5, (we showed the Guest) used was a special tool used by A.C. Technicians to measure temperature. The A.C. was found working. In the review she states temperature was +82, to VRBO she stated 84.
This is NOT correct.
Then Guest leaves takes the Gate remote control, she shares will have it within 24 Hours.
We receive it 24 hours later, processing the deposit, HomeAway called asking for an update in the return of the deposit. She had called HomeAway.
This is a 2018 COLEMAN, the unit is new. In response to the Guest we shared we would add an additional A.C. a 15,000 BTU. It is being installed next week.
Found the exchange during these three days extremely confrontational and unpleasant commencing from arrival.
And based on our negotiations, did not expect another attack from the Guest, this review, and it's inaccuracies.
We are are rather proactive in our maintenance regiment and refinements at our Properties.
We do own this Property.
