I had a great time in Villa Rosa, an extremely positive experience, in a quiet detached house in a cul de sac, but situated only a few step from the downtown area, something like an oasis in the noisy city
A very unique place to stay.
All you need in a city is available, supermarket, shops, Polytechnic University, stadium Ruffini, Palalpitour Sport Hall, bus lines, in 15 minutes you go to the old town
At first I wanted to stay in the City Centre, but after my stay in Villa Rosa I can say that the decision to stay in Villa Rosa, was the correct one.
No problems with my car.
It is extremely important to have a private parking in the house, you have free access to your car without getting out into street.
Parking in Turin is a serious problem, very expensive in the historic centre.
You can take a bus into the city centre and arrive there in 15 minutes . Buses are very efficient and frequent.
If you want to go jogging in the park ( there's a park: Parco Ruffini at 200 metres) you can do it.
There is a gazebo with a garden table and chairs (rocking chair included) in the private shaded courtyard of the house, a place for relax in the evening.
Beautiful atmosphere of quietness and silence, a meeting place for guests staying in the house.
You can bring food and take dinner directly in the green
Usually the other properties are located in anonymous high condos, with very nice apartments, but in any case always situated in monotonous multi-storey concrete buildings. You don't feel very at ease there, better a detached house in the green like Villa Rosa where I decided to stay.
The apartment in the house is brand new, completely renovated, with parquet in all rooms and also in the bathroom, cool in the summer and tastefully decorated. You don't hear a noise, the rooms are spacious with high ceilings, breakfast room/kitchen is very comfortable. The bathroom and dressing room are equipped with a washing machine, iron, etc.
You can even wash and hang your clothes in the courtyard.
There is also a private balcony for smokers.
The owner was particularly nice and friendly, he can speak correctly and fluently several languages, he accompanied me and helped me in moving around in the neighbourhood where to dine, where to buy bus tickets, where is the bus stop, the more convenient supermarket, the cheapest and best pizzeria with free delivery services. He was so friendly.
I had never experienced such a genuine guest-friendly attitude.
I recommend you to go there.
